Transport Assistants jobs in Hyderabad at ICRISAT

ICRISAT seeks applications from dynamic Indian Nationals for the position of Transport Assistants (5 Positons). The position is based at ICRISAT- Patancheru, Telangana. This position reports to the Head of Transport Services.

Responsibilities:

A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a driver, preferably should have worked in a reputed organization with a safe driving record

Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol and courtesies,

Familiarity of local roads and conditions and should always use defensive driving skills

Experience in driving High-end cars (both Automatic and Manual)

Should possess skills in minor vehicle repairs and must be able to extend this knowledge as required

Must be willing to providing logistical support as and when required

Should have experience in managing data, documents, correspondence and reports, information and work flow

Ensure that the relevant rules and regulations of the Institute are adhered at all times

Requirements and competencies: Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Matriculation examination passed personnel

Should possess a valid Heavy Motor Driving License & also a Light Motor Vehicle License

Should have a clean and no accident record

The candidate should be physically fit with clear vision, preferably without spectacles

Good communication skills in Telugu, English and Hindi both spoken and written

Should be a good team player and have experience working in multicultural team

General:This is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) cadre position, initially for a period of 12 months, renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institute’s continuing need for the position.
