Job Summary
Required Travel Desk Executive to assist corporate with travel related services like domestic & international ticketing, hotels, cars, visa etc
Responsibilities and Duties
- Process the booking requests received from the designated areas
- Handles daily correspondences and responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed.
- Co-ordinate between the Clients & Supplier or Service provider to finalize the bookings.
- Working on simultaneous travel queries & arrangements, without loss of details
- Exploring different websites for best available rates of Flight Tickets and Hotel Accommodation.
- Follow up with the supplier deadlines and time limits and the same should intimate to the staff timely.
- Communicates reservation information to the suppliers and consultants.
- Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the suppliers and consultants.
- Do the rate comparison offer best rates to materialize the bookings.
- All the bookings Reconfirmation should be done on daily basis with valid hotel confirmation numbers.
- Process refunds for cancelled bookings, amended bookings, short stay bookings Etc.,
- On the road issues, such as no booking find at the time of check –in, payment issue, guest doesn’t like the hotel Etc.,
- Post Travel such as, guest complaints, Etc
- All the correspondence between suppliers and clients should be handled
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma, Graduate or Post Graduate preferably in travel & tourism with good communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to build strong client relationships
- Overall understanding of technology platforms, GDS functions, Microsoft applications
- Strong knowledge of international reservations, geographies, faring and routings
- Consultative service skills and problem solving abilities
- Shows initiative by looking for opportunities to improve processes and making suggestions.
- Supportive of management and company objectives.
