JOB PURPOSE: Manage travel itineraries for employees according to travel policy. Handle domestic and international queries and itineraries. Interface with suppliers and vendors to ensure good pricing.
1. Head of Travel Desk Operations:
2. Handle and oversee all travel arrangements (air, lodgings etc.) and operations
3. Manage relationships with travel agencies and vendors • Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers
4. Provide advice on travel documents, insurance, import/export regulations etc.
5. Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
6. Manage Travel Portal – CONCUR for travel booking
7. Manage Annual Contracts with Airlines Discussions and negotiations – Agreement renovation, Fare discount, cancellation charges, change fees etc.
8. Manage Annual Contracts with Hotels Rate negotiation and contracting with the hotels majorly in Aurangabad and Pune region. Group discounting for events and conferences
9. Top Management Travel, Hotel , VISA and other documents co-ordination and management.
