Job Description

Typist Clerk/Workshop Supervisor –Cum- Storekeeper

Name of Post : Workshop Supervisor –Cum- Storekeeper (Consultant) For 11 Months 

Emoluments : Rs. 25,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.

Essential Qualifications :- i. 10+2 or equivalent qualification. ii. Diploma /Certificate in Prosthetics & Orthotics. iii. Minimum 2 years of experience in the concerned area. 

Name of Post : Typist Clerk (Consultant) For 11 Months

Emoluments : Rs. 20,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.

Essential Qualifications :- i. Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent. ii. Typing Speed 35wpm. With computer knowledge. iii. Minimum 2 years relevant experience. 

1. The Selection will be based on Online interview.

Demand Draft of Rs 200/- (Non Refundable) drawn in favour of the Director, NIVH Payable at Dehradun must accompany with the application without which the application will not be considered. The SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates are required to submit DD of Rs 100/- only.

The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities owes its origin to St. Dunstan’s Hostel for the War Blinded established in 1943, which offered a basic set of rehabilitation services to the soldiers and sailors blinded in the World War II. In 1950, the Government of India took over the St. Dunstan’s Hostel and entrusted the Ministry of Education with the responsibility of developing comprehensive services for the rehabilitation of blind persons.
