Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
As a UI/portal developer you are required to work with a team of architects, devops engineers, and developers to create mobile applications as part of IBM's offerings in healthcare.

What you’ll do:
Your responsibilities include writing UI/portal code, automating testing, deployment and continuous integration activities and integrating with backend platform APIs. You are also required to providing level 3 code support for the UIs/portals . You may be required to working with clients, partners in supporting these UIs/portals. You would likely be working on a few concurrent projects and would need to balance your time and commitments between competing priorities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Overall 8+ years of software development experience with at least (overlapping)
3+ years experience creating applications using Javascript frameworks (React strongly preferred)
3+ years experience using CSS. CSS framework experience (StyledComponents, Tailwind, etc. preferred)
3+ years experience Node.js
Understanding of design patterns, software engineering, and cloud architectures
Strong diagnostic skills
Proven oral and written communication skills
Preferred skills: Git, Jira, Kubernetes

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

2+ years of leading and mentoring teams
Nice to have working knowledge of IBM Cloud technologies as the development team needs to be able to continuously integrate, deploy, test, and troubleshoot their code in a cloud environment.
