UI/UX Designer

Xcelpros is a Global company, headquartered in Chicago (US) with multiple locations in US and Bengaluru, India. Our focus is Tech Innovation, Product Development and Technology Consulting.

We are hiring for our Product Development team and have an immediate need for a UI/UX Designer. The position calls for someone with a mindset who can design great products, manage multiple projects and related tasks on deadline. We are looking for high-quality and passionate designers that want to be a part of a great product team.

You need to have at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in designing. The candidate will work closely with our internal teams in the design, development, launch and enhancement of various products.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in UI & UX DESIGN, who is well versed with tools like Adobe Creative suite, Sketch app and other relevant designing softwares with demonstrable UX design skills which has a strong visual composition.

Responsibilities

• You will be engaged in the lifecycle of a portfolio of products including but not limited to building product concepts, prospective designs based on personas and usability, aligning market research to product roadmaps, and most importantly contribute to product design to achieve business goals.
• Conceptualize and develop product designs that are modern, minimalistic with an optimal balance of “Form” and “Function”
• You are required to understand company strategy, product releases, current and future state of product portfolio, market research, and understand our biggest opportunities for growth and evolution
• Work with Product Owners, Managers, engineers and marketers to design, develop, and iterate on the intended product designs
• Deeply understand the complex problem space and find simple, powerful design solutions
• Generate your own ideas, and drive collaborative processes to elicit ideas from your teammates and product leadership team
• You will work on our existing designs and improve them as deemed necessary
• Explore those ideas via mockups (wireframes),interactive prototypes, usability testing, and written documentation, ensuring that your team converges on the most promising solutions and intuitive user experience using a user centric design approach.
• You will be involved in developing the detailed product vision to effectively meet the complex needs of our organization.
• Collaborate with our products team via regular design critiques and working sessions
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• You are required to drive continuous improvement in the product and portfolio as a whole
• You will contribute towards customer Knowledge Research, identify and prioritize customer needs, developing data-driven product roadmaps that deliver on strategic objectives
• Develop viable design alternatives related to core product functions
• Take a user / persona centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs with internal teams.
• In some cases, you may have to gather relevant market, industry and research-based information, analyzing reports and dashboards to identify customer needs
• You will support product rollouts, updates, design-rework and implementation, ensuring the developed strategies achieve targeted goals and responses
• You are required to contribute to the design of websites, brochures and marketing collateral as required
• Work on other UX and design projects as needed
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Key Requirements

• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch,iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A team player but can work independently too.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Can do attitude
