About The Role
G2 is looking for a motivated, creative User Support Specialist to jump in and contribute to the Outreach team which is responsible for user acquisition as well as the quantity and quality of user-generated content. We are looking for someone to help us ensure a positive experience for all users interacting with G2. This role will be responsible for providing support for our users, assisting with content moderation, and reporting on key metrics. Members of the outreach team work together as well as with other teams in the company, including product, marketing, and sales, to ensure we have the largest and most trusted collection of users and user-generated content.
Responsibilities
- Respond to user support tickets in email and social media via our help desk tool
- Troubleshoot and provide resolutions to users in a timely manner
- Moderate user profile images, comments, and other user-generated content
- Investigate and respond to review and other content quality concerns flagged by G2 users
- Become an expert on G2 and how to help our users leverage and contribute to our community
- Assist with review moderation as needed
- Monitor performance and suggest improvements as needed
- Develop and run reports on all relevant company and team metrics
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in web-based customer service, or a related role
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and in person
- Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Proactive self-starter and able to work both independently and with a small team
- Agile and can adapt to changing circumstances or requirements
- Experience in software, tech, and/or user-generated content (ideal but not required)
- Bachelorâs degree
