Your Role and Responsibilities

Introduction :

User experience designers create human-centered experiences by designing the structural and informational foundation for products, services, and systems. They facilitate the delivery of all elements, interactions, and decisions that add value to the total user experience.

Who you are:

As UX Designer...
· You will be responsible for UI,UX design and development of software developed on micro service architecture on Cloud platform.
· Highly observant of human behavior
· Sensitive to and perceptive of non-verbal actions, like body language
· Analytical and able to approach research without bias towards an outcome
· Able to articulate the principles of and make a business case for a research method
· Capable of working independently or with a team
· You will have Strong analytic skills and a high dream to develop quality code in an agile process working with geographically distributed product managers/business analysts, architects and software engineers.
· You will have prior knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Cloud Service Brokerage, or the utmost dream to learn such topics, is preferred
· You will participate in research and design activities to better understand Partner (s)and find breakthrough solutions. (Partner could be end-user, technical-architect, business owner or a software developer)
· You will assist in delivering creative user experiences and market outcomes through guided and reciprocal contributions. Delivers high-quality work on time as directed. Actively involved in learning about the designer’s offering, team, and organization and how to improve their skills.

What you’ll do:

You will combine the art of Designing with Programming. Responsibilities will include....
· Translation of Ux Design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
· Identify potential research projects. Work with offering managers and others to define research priorities
· Determine the best research method for each project. Design and conduct research activities
· Find and present insights. Actively participate in client workshops
· Collaborate with other researchers in determining research best practices and team standards
· Provide research guidance to designers who create usability tests
· Work with Ux Designer to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
· Take active role in defining how the application looks as well as how it works, Innovate in Engineering.
· Production of design specifications of user interface and visual design including: wireframes (lo-fi as well as hi-fi),story boards, prototypes, colour and typography.
· Designing of UI elements (system dialogues, icons and new UI objects) for multi-device (desktop, mobile, tablets) delivery.
· Demonstrate ability to craft and present stories, understanding of IBM’s brand and products, and basic understanding of IBM Design Thinking.
· Able to collaborate across design as well as business and technical disciplines. Understands digital media, design trends, and relevant tools.
· Begins to acquire basics skills in issue tracking, agile practices, and (where applicable) software/solution delivery
· Self-organizing, passionately bring news ideas to the team, and demonstrates a good work ethic. Assists new peer team members in navigating the team.
· Participate in design communities and competitions. Develops and improves public speaking skills, chips in to social media (blogs, twitter, etc.). Has produced a strong portfolio of work within their discipline. Begins to share their expertise within and outside their team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Experience in UX designing, specialists who ‘Bring Human Experiences To Life’, through the interpretation and synthesis of research and requirements, craft stories around intended experiences which connect people in significant, enduring ways with our products and services.
· Interpreting research insights and building understanding of users
· Defining user experience goals and design principles
· Applying knowledge of psychological and physical attributes of humans (e.g. Hick's Law, Fitt's Law)
· Designing the architecture of the functions and information of the experience
· Designing the interaction patterns between functions/information and users/customers


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Experience or familiarity with designing for accessibility standards
· Familiarity with design systems
· Degree in User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Architecture, or related field
