Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Backup Admin, you are responsible for Responsible for performing daily operational tasks and maintaining availability at the customer site(s)

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing daily operational tasks and maintaining availability at the customer site(s).
• Provide solutions based on standardized procedures and perform necessary infrastructure maintenance as per customer's change management policies
• Report unsafe situations and recommend requisite improvements while seeking advice from Senior Technical Support as per the criticality of the situation
• Responsible to provide backup solutions in Avamar Versions 7.x, 8.x
• Drive backup software integration with most commonly used applications in industry e.g. Backing up MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes, VMWare

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as backup administrator with 2+ years of experience on Veeam backup solution.
• Experience in audit application backup policies and environments to ensure integrity of backup, recovery activities
• Ability to participate in the recovery of application environments where required and in diverse inclusion in taking the help from supported environment
• Proven expertise in collaboratively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes by the execution of pre-determined ground-breaking health and operational checks
• Validated knowledge of manage and resolve problems identified by system administration or monitoring software
• Proficient in change and problem management tools along with hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison
• Working knowledge to investigate, identify and document proposals that will improve application recoverability
• Experience in installation and configuration Arc serve / Backup Exec.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ability to ensure that all the data pertaining to the company and its clients is safeguarded against unauthorized or illegal use by implementing various methodologies against those who violate the security rules and regulations
• Proficient to maintain the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the information and to maintain its authenticity, control and utility of the relevant data
• Experience in supporting all the necessary procedures related to security approval, accreditation, certification, etc.
• In-depth knowledge to implement a realistic approach during the certification schedule and process
• Hands-on experience to ensure compliance with vulnerability and mitigation procedures and to establish and install security fixes at regular intervals
