Sr. No. 1 to 2 and 5 to 9: VEM, VEE, STE, GMO, WDR, BPO, CPR, MTS For Ex-servicemen personnel: - Trade work as per the service records with minimum four years experience in respective trades. For civilians: ITI Certification (Minimum one-year course) in relevant trade with four years relevant experience or Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with two years working experience in relevant field.

Qualification:  For Ex-servicemen personnel: Trade work as per the service records with minimum four years experience in respective trades For civilians: Heavy motor vehicle license and atleast one year of operating hydraulic cranes preferably of capacity of more than 20 metric tons.

Sr. No. 10: MAN

Qualification:  a) Diploma in General Nursing or b) Bachelor of Science in Nursing as approved by Indian Nursing Council or c) Diploma in Operation Theatre Technique or equivalent or d) Certificate in relevant subject from an Institute recognized by the Central or the State Government. Four years relevant experience after completion of educational/technical qualification i.e. degree/diploma/certificate course.

Qualification:  Diploma in engineering (Instrumentation/ Electronics/electrical/mechanical) or Bachelor degree in Physical Sciences/ Instrumentation with minimum two years relevant experience in handling scientific laboratory equipment as laboratory attendant or project assistant or technical/scientific assistant or equivalent.

Qualification:  For Ex-servicemen personnel: - Trade work as per the service records with minimum four years experience in radio communication ( HF/VHF) devices. Diploma in Engineering ( Electronics) with two years working experience in radio communication( HF/VHF) devices.

Sr. No. 13: IBS

Qualification:  12th pass, ITI Certification in computer operator and programming assistant (COPA) or equivalent trade with four years relevant experience. Diploma in computer application or equivalent with two years working experience in relevant field.

Sr. No. 14 CHF

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or Culinary Art from a recognized Indian University/Institute. Two years of experience in a registered firm/airlines/hotel/food chain. Capable of handling 50 to 60 persons on a daily basis.

Contract wages :Rs. 43,176/- (fixed) per month for the entire duration of contract for those who are going to Antarctica on NCPOR contract for the first time. Contract wages of Rs. 57,568/- (fixed) per month for the entire duration of contract for those who already have been to Antarctica on NCPOR contract.

Selected candidates as member of team will be entitled for free boarding & lodging onboard ship and at Antarctica with special polar clothing. They will be entitled for special Hardship allowance (HDA) of Rs. 1500/- per day during summer season and Rs. 2000/- per day during winter season for the actual duration of stay in Antarctica.

Special Hardship allowance rates are subject to revision in accordance with subsequent government order
