Minimum educational Qualifications& Experience: Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science / Equivalent qualification with relevant specialization with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 on 10 point scale or 60% marks) and consistent academic record with minimum 3 years’ experience in experimental work using laboratory animal models and in lab animal breeding.

Preference Candidates with experience in rodent surgeries, lab animal breeding and management especially rodents and immunocompromised animals will be preferred Job requirement The incumbent is expected to oversee experiments involving transgenic and knockout lines and also work along with the team of faculty in the various scientific research projects at the Institute. The incumbent is also expected to be involved in day-to-day function of the Animal House Facility. Tenure of the appointment Up to March 17, 2021, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.

Consolidated emoluments Rs. 54,075/- per month
