Job Description

Vice-Chancellor recruitment in National University of Study and Research in Law on contract basis

Applications are invited from eminent academician, outstanding scholar in law or eminent jurist for the post of the Vice-Chancellor, National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi.

Other terms of appointment shall be in accordance with Statute 19 of the Schedule to the NUSRL Act, 2010 & NUSRL Administrative & Management Regulations, 2017 made there under; and UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.

In accordance with Statute 19 (iv) of the Schedule to the NUSRL Act, 2010 the Vice Chancellor shall hold office for a term of five years from the date on which he enters upon his office, or until he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier, and he shall be eligible for re-appointment for further terms till he attains the age of seventy years. The emoluments and other conditions of service of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed by NUSRL Administrative & Management Regulations, 2017.
