Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Creation of content and graphics for the videos
2. Create video openers with Adobe After Effects/Filmora/Final Cut Pro or any equivalent software.
3. Editing the video as per promotional need
4. Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running
5. Trimming footage segments and put together
6. Should be able to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created from the creative brief, & establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
7. Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to the client(s) and must be able to detail out the creative approach to the client.
8. Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other important aspects of the project. In the case of no media assets, the candidate should be confident to create a grounds-up video from scratch to fulfil the video requirements.
9. Must be fluent in all aspects of post-production, including creative concept development; scripting; development of graphic design and/or animation elements; executing all creative aspects of audio and video post-production
10. Manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and communicate needs and trade-offs if timelines cannot be met.
11. Qualifications for Video Editor Bachelor's degree in (preferably in film editing or related degree) is required Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs.
