Designation: Video Editor
Job Summary• To work collaboratively with the Marketing post-production team under the Lead/ Post-Production Manager/Producer to generate promotional spots & other AV deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities• Stitching and compositing footage.
• Create Motion Graphics and Animation.
• Collaborate with other designers and editors.
• Aiding team in storyboarding.
• Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format.
• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos.
• Ability to operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video recording and video effects.
• Consistent, high-quality video edits for both short and long-form content
• Creative ownership and management of projects from start to end
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Create new styles and formats; innovate within brand guidelines.
• Provide fresh perspective and insight.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Film Studies, Cinematography, or related field.
• 4+ years of work experience with a brand, digital/social/advertising/creative/media agency.
Technical skills/Soft skills• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• In-depth understanding of social platforms
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
Salary Range(In Rupees): 50000-60000
