Job Description

  • A developer in this role is an integral part of a core team of talented software engineers committed to the development of a fast and quality way of video sharing technology over the Cloud.  
  • Involves a significant contribution to the design and development of server-side component and enhances both user-experience and reducing the cost of video delivery.
  • 2-5 years of experience, a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. 
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience on the internals of FFmpeg / GStreamer / OpenMAX multimedia frameworks, Understanding of audio/video codecs. 
  • Knowledge in video compression standards like H.264, h.263, h.265
  • Good experience of the build system, Makefile / Cmake / GNU Autotools. 
  • Strong understanding of, memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency, and multithreading. 
  • Experience with AWS, Transcoder, and S3 or other storage / CDN services 
  • Familiar with MPEG DASH, HLS MP4, fMP4 and MOV file formats
  • Passionate about quality and demonstrate high standards in delivery.
  • Skills in Machine learning techniques especially of solving complex problems in the video compression algorithms using ML methods will add value.
