Videographers/ Still Photographers job vacancies in Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT)

CDIT invites application from interested Videographers/ Still Photographers for the “Empanelment of Video Stringers” in all districts in the State. The purpose of empanelment is to undertake the Video and Photo coverage of events or programmes assigned by CDIT.

Empanelled video stringers are expected to do video coverage and short feature on news, current affairs and other subjects being assigned by CDIT . As the video documentation is to be done on specific topic , the selection would be based on educational qualification, experience and expertise in videography / news gathering / broadcast journalism.

Stringers should have adequate facilities and equipment to undertake the coverage. Those equipped with 4-wheel vehicles will be preferred. Proof of ownership of the equipments must be submitted along with application. This must be submitted on request for physical verification of the equipments .

The video coverage by the stringer should contain all elements of a video story. For each coverage, the stringer should provide raw footage, dope sheet, press material and a script. Stringer should be able to upload and send the video to C-DIT within 4 hours of the completion of the event/shooting .

Video Stringers/Still Photographers are required in all 14 districts. Applicants should mention the name of the district where they wish to be empanelled. More than one district can be opted if sufficient facility is available with the applicant. Proof of academic and technical qualifications, experience and equipment ownership must be submitted along with the application.
