Specialization: Geophysics
Essential:
i) Master’s Degree in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Marine Geophysics or equivalent from a recognized University / Institution
ii) Minimum 25 years of research experience in marine Geophysics and related exploration activities
iii) Experience in handling of research programs related to marine geosciences with evidence of research publications in SCI journals.
Consolidated Remuneration (per month): Rs. 80,000/- or last pay drawn minus the pension of the individual, whichever is lesser.
Age limit: Senior / Retired scientists /Geophysicist from Govt. or Autonomous Bodies

i) Master’s Degree in marine biology / fisheries or equivalent from a recognized University / Institution
ii) Minimum 25 years of research experience in the relevant field
iii)Experience in handling research programs related to deep sea fauna, ecology, biodiversity, environmental impact assessment etc with evidence of research publications in SCI journals.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 80,000/- or last pay drawn minus the pension of the individual, whichever is lesser.
Age limit: Senior / Retired scientists /marine biologists from Govt. or Autonomous Bodies
Selection Procedure: The engagement will be purely on short term contract basis. Application received in response to this advertisement will be shortlisted on the basis of experience and qualification of the applicants. Visiting Scientist will be selected from shortlisted candidates. The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject an application without mentioning any reason. Shortlisted candidates may be called for interview / personal talk (if required) and the same shall be held at NCPOR campus, Goa.
