Responsibilities -
- Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.,
- Ensure continual knowledge management
- Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes
Technical and Professional Requirements-
- Managing Virtualization Environment using VM Ware ESX 5.x, VM Ware V Sphere 5.x,Virtual Center
- Installation, Configuration, Administration and Trouble shooting of ESX 5.x,Vspere 5.x, Virtual Center
- Creating Baselines and upgraded/patched ESXi hosts
- Creating and Managing Virtual Machines and Templates
- Creating Clusters for High Availability (HA) and Distributive Resource Scheduling (DRS)
- Configured Resource Pool, V Motion, Alerts, Alarms, NTP
- Migration of Virtual Machines using V Motion
- Performing Snapshots, Cloning, Cold Migrations and Hot Migrations
- Creating Templates from VM’s, deploy VM’s from templates and allocate resources
- Monitoring of Virtual Machine’s & ESX servers (CPU, Memory, Disk and Network Utilization)
- Creation of Virtual Switches, Ports and Port groups and setting up Layer 2 Security Policies for Virtual Networks
- Fixing issues relating to vmotion such as compatibility issues with help of event log
- Setting up Users and Groups for access to the Virtual Center
- Moving VM’s from one LUN to another LUN using Storage V-Motion
- Performance tuning of VMware servers, Virtual sessions and management of server resources between Virtual Machines
- Collected System Log and analysis RCA for reporting issue
- Organize tasks, events and Configuring alarms
- Also experienced in working with SRM, Avamar, UCS and vRops.,Location of posting will be based on Business Requirement
Educational Requirements: Bachelor Of Engineering , BTech , MCA , MSc , MTech , Master Of Engineering
