The responsibilities of the incumbent will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Manage / oversee the Control Management agenda for designated GF&BM Line Of Business (LOB)
- Oversee the Control Management book of work for designated GF&BM LOB(s) and perform day-to-day administration (e.g. Resiliency Risk, Operational Risk, Information Risk, Risk Assessment, SOX / CCAR testing, Process Risk Reviews, High Risk Manual Process Reviews, Data Loss / Breach Prevention measures, User Tools Program, Policy compliance monitoring, MIS reporting, etc.)
- Perform design and operating reviews of various finance functions to assess the effectiveness of the process and activities, identify design / operating gaps, work with business to remediate them and perform post implementation reviews
- Review current operating model and make suitable amends in the governance framework to support planned growth in GF&BM functions
- Collaborate with business leadership teams locally & globally to support & further the risk & control programs for designated GF&BM LOB(s)
- Strengthen collaboration with Global Control Managers to drive the risk and control agenda in a seamless & consistent manner
- Ensure continuous awareness and education on risk and control agenda
- Engage in resource planning, team management and people development
Experience:
- Experience in Internal Controls, Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA),Sarbanes Oxley (SOX),Audits, Process Risk Reviews, Business Continuity Planning (BCP),etc.
- Should have worked in financial services industry and/or managed finance functions
- Must have hands-on experience of people and team management
Skill Sets:
- Be the first line of defense and support business functions on control management agenda
- Act as a trusted business advisor and provide independent assurance to LOB management teams
- Understand Finance function and be able to appreciate its linkages across business process
- Possess strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Should be able to face senior management personnel with confidence and determination.
- Excellent collaboration, relationship management & client partnering skills
- Be assertive and communicate effectively across multiple levels and handle challenging situations tactfully
- Display strong risk acumen, control mindset, project management aptitude and auditing skills
- Be able to think strategically and add value to business through control management initiatives
- Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge of business intelligence tools and good technology aptitude
