Job Description

Role : L2 Application Support Analyst : .Net Web-based Application Support

The QHSE application cluster consists of applications performing following key functions -

Reporting and dashboards for Quality & HSE data
QHSE workflow management
Environmental Regulatory Compliance Solutions and Tracking (Wercs Software, .NET web environment)
Management of field journeys
The underlying database technology for these applications is Oracle and SQL Server. External vendors Microsoft and Wercs provide product support for applications in QHSE Workflow management and Regulatory Compliance solution space respectively.
He/she would utilize the knowledge of business to provide functional support to the users of the above applications and would lead the effort of requirements gathering for enhancement requests.

Functional Support

Frequently interacts with businesses to discuss current and new application features and provides support related to application features and functionalities.
Proactively brings ideas based on his/her experience and understanding of the business users- needs for new development and enhancements.
Works to support key business requests and critical tickets resolution.
Troubleshoots complex issues related to process/functionality of applications and resolves critical/escalated tickets.
Develops process documentation and related functionalities for the applications in QHSE cluster.
