The Role

We are looking for a creative and talented Web Developer to be based in Pune, IN. This full-time position will be responsible for a wide variety of web development and design duties to enhance our corporate website and assist in marketing efforts. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's
Basic functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is a plus
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Understanding of marketing technologies and digital campaigns
Experience building web sites, microsites and web applications
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Qualifications

5 years of proven working experience in web programming
Proven working experience in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills,
Experience in handling cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI),Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP),Multimedia Content Development, API's
Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
BS in computer science or a related field
