We've built great IP in the IoT space, in embedded hardware wireless data acquisition, logistics, and supply chain, big data and analytics, BI, and mobile platforms. Transworld has its own R&D team of engineers who design and develop mobile hardware and write cloud-based server-side, enterprise-class software and deployments. A startup, Transworld has substantial traction in other areas and verticals of application for its technology - utilities and power, TV ratings, TV anti-piracy, warehouse, and cloud-based CRM and ERP solutions. All of its solutions center around its core technology expertise and IP - remote wireless data acquisition devices for the Internet of Things, server software for Cloud Big Data, BI, CRM, and ERP and are built using open-source software and platforms - instantly scaleable on the cloud.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage team task sheets, coordinate with the team, and track bugs as directed
2. Assist the manager in the creation and execution of project work plans
3. Track changes, change requests and engage in technical and administrative tasks
4. Update daily reports and information/data verification
5. Track backup-up and verify backed-up data
6. Learn and update project and task management tools
7. Create and update dashboards
8. Investigate and try the alternative: new open source technologies
9. Create technical documentation, presentations, and flow-charts, and learn how to maintain version control processes
10. Write Java programs, conversion to SQL stored procedures and triggers
11. Create reports and forms using specified tools
12. Test outputs for the fulfillment of standards and customer requirements
13. Participate in design reviews under the direction of senior developers
14. Write algorithms and offline code processing modules for images, big data, and sensor data
15. Analyze and update data for geospatial maps and programs
16. Install, test, and deploy the company's standard OS, packages and tools on designated hardware platforms
17. Manage and monitor the cloud server
