Job Description:
As a wedding planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of weddings to ensure they run smoothly and meet the expectations of the couple. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Client Consultation: Meeting with couples to discuss their vision for the wedding, budget, and preferences for vendors and venues.
Vendor Selection: Researching and recommending vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, and musicians that align with the couple's style and budget.
Venue Selection: Assisting the couple in finding and securing the perfect venue for their ceremony and reception.
Budget Management: Creating and managing budgets for the wedding, ensuring that expenses stay within the agreed-upon limits.
Timeline Creation: Developing detailed timelines and schedules for the wedding day, including setup, ceremony, reception, and cleanup.
Coordination: Overseeing all logistical details, including transportation, accommodations, and guest RSVPs.
Event Design: Collaborating with the couple to create a cohesive theme and design concept for the wedding, including decor, lighting, and overall ambiance.
Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues or concerns that arise during the planning process or on the wedding day, ensuring quick and effective solutions.
Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for the couple and vendors, maintaining clear and open communication throughout the planning process.
On-Site Management: Being present on the wedding day to oversee setup, manage vendors, and ensure that everything runs according to plan.

Education:
While formal education in event planning, hospitality management, or a related field is beneficial, practical experience and a strong portfolio are often more important in this role.
