Job Description:

L2 Active Directory, Windows and VMware Administrator:
As a Wintel administrator, you will be part of a team with the responsibility of installing, configuring, and supporting Active Directory services, Windows Server 2012/2016, VMware vSphere 6.5 and VMware Horizon 7.8.
This includes performing necessary maintenance and monitoring to provide continuous availability, capacity, security and performance of Windows services.
Wintel Active Directory day to day tasks would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, ADFS, Windows File Services, and Group Policies. n tKnowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPO s.
Knowledge of AD, ADFS, Windows Server 2012 R2. n tKnowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows 2012 landscape.
Must have a deep and thorough understanding of monitoring best practices, preferably with Microsoft System Centre Operation Manager (SCOM) understanding and experience.
Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts application infrastructure and standards networking fundamentals LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies, Windows Virtualization Technologies (e.g. VMware, VMware Horizon, HyperV).
Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure the integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems.
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies
Produce enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Services for initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams.
Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities within company operational guidelines.
