Job Description

Wordpress Developer

  • Department: Technology & Engineering
  • Experience: 2 - 4 Years Experience

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in building custom websites using Wordpress.
  • 1-2 years of experience in PHP / MySQL development.
  • Should have the experience and ability to architect the website based on the UI and functional requirements.
  • Should be an expert in Integration of UI (HTML/CSS) in wordpress themes and plugins.
  • Should be able to build frontend interactions using Javascript / Jquery and various plugins.
  • Should have hands on experience in using Action and Filter hooks.
  • Should have extensively used and have expertise in the Wordpress template hierarchy (creating custom post types / taxonomies / custom fields).
  • Should have implemented Wordpress best practices for site security.
  • Should have experience in using Git.
  • Should have Knowledge of Git attributes.
  • Should have experience in Enabling and working with Secure sites.
  • Should have Managed updates to Wordpress / themes / plugins.
  • Should have knowledge of Integrating the WooCommerce plugin and payment gateways for enabling eCommerce.
  • Should be able to Integrate third party services and API's.
  • Should be familiar with wordpress DB structure.
  • Should have the experience and ability to research and recommend the best plugins available to cater to a particular requirement.
  • Should be proficient in Testing and optimizing website performance using relevant tools.
  • Should be well versed with the Wordpress Coding and Deployment Standards / Best Practices.
