About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on PHP, MySQL, HTML, Jquery, JavaScript, and CSS
2. Work on creating AJAX-styled applications with PHP
3. Work on the interface with existing APIs (i.e. Google Maps, Twitter API, Facebook API)
4. Work on optimizing the performance using Apache, PHP, and MySQL configuration
5. Work on eCommerce integration
6. Work on in integration with different payment gateways, SMS gateways & other same services
7. Work on child theme development
8. Work on creating plugins for theme customization
9. Work on developing the WP plugins
10. Work on understanding and implementing security and data protection

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

Other requirements

1. Ability to work independently and within groups

2. Should know the efficient use of WP core functions

3. Proficient with JQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX

4. Proficient in HTML5/CSS3

5. Should know about source version control like Git, SVN, etc.

6. Familiar with WP-CLI for deploying & maintaining websites will be an added advantage

7. Familiar with AWS & Linux command line will be an added advantage

8. Good written & spoken communication skills

9. Quick learner

10. Good problem-solving skills

11. Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills

12. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems

13. Excellent skills with PHP as an object-oriented language
