- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation certification is required.
As a Workday Functional Analyst, you will play an important role in the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Biogen's Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
You will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting primarily Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation & Performance modules along with ability to provide input/support for Payroll & Benefits to meet the evolving needs of Biogen.
You will be responsible for collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure the effective use of the Workday implementation.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Workday Functional Analyst, with a focus on HCM, Compensation & Performance modules
- Configure and customize Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation & Performance modules based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday HCM , Advanced Compensation & Perforance functionality, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize business processes within & around the Workday system.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, document functional specifications, and translate business requirements into system configurations.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training and user support materials as needed.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Conduct/supoprt testing and validation of system changes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Stay current with Workday updates and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
- Exposure to delivery framework/methodologies such as SAFe & SDLC. Familiar with ITIL framework for change & incident management for system deliveries.
- Understanding of HR business processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into Workday solutions.
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation & Performance modules, including business process configuration, security setup, and report development.
- Experience with Workday integrations, data conversion, and system testing.
- Experience of at least 2 Workday implementations in configuring modules
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experienced in documenting system configurations and customizations via appropriate artifacts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
