Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWork with the cross-functional internal IBM Workday team delivering Workday Payroll UK configuration management services to the IBM UK Payroll Team. This role will drive the Payroll workstream, completing activities in design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday Payroll solutions. This person may be required to consult or provide guidance and input to the larger Workday team supporting IBMs Time and Absence, HCM, Compensation or Benefits configurations. It is expected that this role will also interact with UK Payroll Operations located in the UK and Phillippines, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to IBM UK EmployeesRequired Technical and Professional Expertise- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience implementing/configuring Workday Payroll Management module that includes 1 full-scale implementation and proficiency in the following functional areas:
- Earnings and Deductions
- Workday Payroll Execution
- Retroactive Payroll
- Understanding Key Workday Payroll Fundamentals
- Familiarity and ability to work with Workday Report Studio
- Prior experience supporting UK Payroll on Workday deployed into production
- Prior experience working on a cross functional Workday delivery team ( HCM, Comp, Benefits, Time and Absence, Reporting, Payroll )
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, suggesting solutions to the Business Process Team
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise- Workday HCM and Workday UK Payroll Certification preferred (Pro or Consultant)
- Experience with Workday Financials
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with and the ability to navigate the Workday Community
- Understanding and application of Agile and Design Thinking Principles
- Experience in Absence and Time Tracking modules
- Knowledge of Zendesk
