Job Description

NIMH/PROJ/DST/KU/RA-YI/NOTIF.2020-21

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invites application for the position Yoga Instructor

Project: “Adopting specific yoga module to reduce the burden of post COVID stress disorder among unemployed youth and recent graduates: a pilot investigative study”

No. of Post: 01

Educational Qualification: 3 year B.Sc in Yoga OR Graduation with 1 year Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga from a recognized University/ Institution or QCI Certificate as Yoga Instructor (200 or 300 Hrs Training)

Research Experience: 1 year teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree as above

Desirable Experience: Experience in teaching Yoga to patients with psychiatric/neurological disorders and involved in research studies

Emoluments: Rs. 29,300/- per month (consolidated)

Duration of employment: 11 months Initial appointment will be made for six months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate

Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit 35 years
