Job Description

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post on contract basis in the Wellcome-DBT India Alliance funded, research project entitled “Yoga and Schizophrenia – a comprehensive assessment of Neuroplasticity (Y-SCAN)”– under Dr.Shivarama Varambally, Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator.

1. Name of the Post: Yoga Therapist

2. No. of Posts: 1 (One)

3. Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Yoga/B.sc in Yoga with two years teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution

4. Desirable Qualification:

(i) Experience in teaching Yoga to patients with Psychiatric/neurological disorders.

(ii) Proficiency in English & Kannada Languages

(iii) Basic computer knowledge

5. Emoluments: Rs.30,300/- per month (Consolidated)

6. Duration: 6 months. Initial appointment will be for a period of 06 months. This may be extended on renewal basis depending on the satisfactory performance of the candidate (Maximum three months)

Age Limit:

32 Years (Relaxable for suitable candidates)
