Young Professional I & II  job recruitment in Central Institute of Fisheries Education purely on temporary basis

Name of Project :  Network Project on “Ornamental fish breeding and Culture” (NPOFBC)

No. of Vacancies :  2 at Mumbai and 1 at Kolkata

Qualification :

YP I: BFSc with minimum of 55% mark (General/OBC) (SC /ST 50%)

YP II: MFSc Aquaculture./ M.Sc. Zoology with minimum of 55% mark (General/OBC) (SC /ST 50%)

Desirable :  1 year experience in Ornamental fish rearing/ breeding /Live feed culture (micro algae and zooplankton) & working knowledge in computer and computational analysis with statistical software such as SPSS or SAS.

Emoluments :  

YP I (one): Consolidated Pay : Rs. 15,000/- per month.

YP II (two): Consolidated Pay : Rs. 25,000/- per month.

Age Limit  :  Minimum 21 years for YP I and II and maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women (age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)

The Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai was established in the year 1961, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India. The Administrative control of this Institute was transferred to ICAR in 1979. Subsequently, the scope and mandate have been widened to include education, research and extension. Recognising the pivotal role played by the Institute in Human Resources Development in fisheries, the Institute was accorded the status of Deemed-to-be- University in March, 1989
