  recruitment in  Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology – Jammu on contractual basis

Project : “Rainfed Integrated Farming System” 

1. Young Professional  (YP-I) /02 Posts

Qualification: B.Sc. (any discipline) , B.Sc (Ag.) or M.Sc (Ag.) or Ph. D. in Agriculture (any discipline) .

Experience in field experimentation w.r.t. natural resource management (NRM),data recording and computation.  Working experience in soil and plant analysis.  Knowledge of local language, good computer skills etc.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,000/- per month on consolidated basis

2. Field Assistant /01 Post

Qualification:  Graduate (any discipline). 

Experience in laying out field demonstrations and agricultural field operations, Proficiency in computer work. 

Pay Scale:  Rs.10000/- per month on consolidated basis

It was established in the year 1982 through an Act of the J&K Assembly, with its headquarter at Shalimar, Srinagar. In the year1998-99, the University was renamed as Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) and its territorial jurisdiction redefined to Kashmir and Ladakh regions.
