Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of Young Professional II (One Post) purely on temporary basis under the Institute Funded Project “Ecosystem based studies including ecosystem mapping of Muttukadu estuarine area and other selected Brackishwater areas” at this Institute.

Place of Posting :ICAR-CIBA, Chennai

Qualification Essential :DesirablePh.d / M.Sc./ M.Phil (Spatial Information Technology, Zoology, Geology, Remote sensing, Geography) With 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience in the relevant subject.

Experience in sampling in brackishwater ecosystems and understanding of plankton (Phyto and zoo plankton) and analysis of water quality parameters. 

Working experience in GIS and Remote sensing  Working experience in mapping of coastal waterbodies

Fellowship: Rs.25,000/- consolidated 

Age Limit: Minimum age 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules
