Responsibilities:
Generate leads through product demos, cold calling, networking by attending in-person or virtual events or conferences, and pitching ideas.
Understand what the customer wants from the product or service, and help them get easier solutions to their unique pain points.
Determine the price and contract for products or services.
To spot newer sales opportunities that align with the business, they must be updated with evolving market trends and know the current demands of the potential customers.
They should be capable of establishing great customer/client relationships and supporting them every step of the way when the customer is unsure of the product or service.
Automate the sales cycle, document, and report with CRM software such as Salesforce or Oracle, and MS Office.
The professional should monitor inventory and ensure stock availability so that the product reaches the customer at the right time.
Give importance to teamwork and collaboration to strategise and execute the perfect plan with effective marketing tactics that convert leads and allow reaching sales targets.
Mentor sales representatives in the team in ways to meet sales objectives, which also must be defined by the Sales Executive.
Provide sales and financial reports to the senior sales manager weekly or monthly.
Senior professionals in this role must oversee the staffing process of sales representatives and must work closely with the human resources department.
Represent the company when meeting clients and showcase the best of organisational culture.
