Title: Accounting Assistant (GST and Tally)

*Job Description:*
As an Accounting Assistant proficient in GST and Tally, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. *Bookkeeping and Data Entry:*

- Recording financial transactions accurately and timely using Tally ERP software.

- Maintaining and updating accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
2. *GST Compliance:*

- Ensuring compliance with GST regulations and filing GST returns accurately and on time.

- Handling GST reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies.
3. *Accounts Receivable and Payable:*

- Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

- Processing invoices, bills, and payments efficiently.
4. *Bank Reconciliation:*

- Performing bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
5. *Financial Reporting:*

- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

- Generating various financial reports as required by management.
6. *Assistance in Audits:*

- Providing support during internal and external audits.

- Ensuring all necessary documentation and records are available and accurate.
7. *General Administrative Support:*

- Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed.

- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

*Requirements:*
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role.

- Proficiency in Tally ERP software and advanced knowledge of GST regulations.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).

- Relevant certification in accounting or GST (preferred).
