ADMINISTRATIVE AND PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Function of the proposed position
- Under the responsibility of our administrative and logistics manager, the person will be in charge of the administrative management of the company on a daily basis, following-up and carry out basic quality tests and all the activities related to the production and export of seeds (seeds produced in India and exported to France).
Missions related to the seed production activity in India
- The person will work closely with the production manager of the company. In collaboration with the production manager, he/she will be responsible for the administrative follow-up of the seed production activities carried out in India and will have the concern to maintain good relationships with the seed suppliers.
- Under the control of the production manager and after a basic training from production manager and Technisem quality department, he/she will be in charge of quality tests and quality reports.
However, his/her main responsibility in this technical activity will be:
- Updating stocks (stockseed for our suppliers and seed produced and ready for shipment)
- Organize sending and return of seeds from our suppliers (stockseed, samples, seed produced)
- Follow-up quality results from external seed testing companies
- Carry out basic quality tests and establish test reports
- He/she may also help the administrative and logistics manager with export process (India to France).
- Missions linked to the sales activity in India
- The person will work closely with the marketing manager and will participate with him in the maintenance of a good corporate image. He/she will also have to assist the administrative and logistics manager to facilitate the import of commercial seeds coming from France to be marketed in India.
- He/she will be in charge of welcoming customers in our Bangalore office.
Required profile
- Administrative training
- An experience of a few years would be an advantage
Requiredskills- Rigor, organization, adaptation, teamwork ability
- Good knowledge of IT tools (database, spreadsheet, word processing)
- Autonomy and ability to adapt quickly to different environments
- Multi tasks
- Willingness to invest in its mission
- Ability to integrate into a team at an international level and to quickly acquire a group spirit
- Working language in English, but a good knowledge of French would be decisive

- Position based in India (Bangalore)
- Start-up date: ideally we would like the Novalindia Office to be fully operational around beginning of February 2018
