1.    Responsible for managing / execution of technical work package of various application development projects initiated within the region for acquiring business / defending existing business. Participation in project work as project team member. Managing technical work package including customer interphase for technical discussions, representing project development/progress with project leader & stakeholders (Growth management teams).

2.    For assigned project, responsible to lead interdisciplinary project team, prepare project plan, create work breakdown structures, assign work packages, representing project development / progress with stakeholders (Growth management teams).

3.    Leading the lab team to develop suitable technical solutions for the success of project during development stage. Technical work involves development of suitable formulations, analysis of various other formulation ingredients to establish their suitability and efficacy, analysis of performance of related Adhesives formulation by conducting various mechanical, physical & chemical tests.

4.    Collaborate with colleagues in other regions / APAC /sub regions to ensure consistent product development, minimizing duplication, and enhancing application know how. Key member of global team of the Application Area - Industrial Adhesives.

5.    Providing technical support to existing customers in the related application area to sustain / grow existing business as initiated by sales colleagues.

6.    Participating in promotion/market development activities (forward marketing) together with Industrial marketing colleagues / cross BU platform colleagues for demand generation of CAS solutions/technologies within the region for industrial Adhesives application.

7.    Analyze technical trends for industrial adhesives applications & translate into applications/ chemistries with line managers / R&D colleagues. Undertaking technical feasibility work as necessary, Initiating application development projects by submitting project idea.

8.    Introduce new products, new applications and technologies to the market by technical marketing & communication activities (sales aids, press information, lectures, conferences, trade shows etc.) also as part of commercial preparation / launch stage of diamond process.
