Assistant Manager – Health Underwriting
Purpose of Role: Facilitate smooth functioning of the Retail health underwriting portfolio by underwriting of retail health proposal
Location: Pune
Education: Medical Professional (BAMS/BHMS /BDS)
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience retail health UW or TPA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensuring uniformity in quality & maintain TATs of Underwriting decisions.
- Frequent changes / modifications in compliance and regulatory requirements involves elaborate changes in policies, procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of Retail Underwriting
- Works on projects / matters of limited complexity in a supporting role.
- Handling Sales / branch queries preferred along with cross functional stake holder management.
- Ensure speedy processing of cases from all branches.
- Responsible for conducting end to end management in terms of adhering to the TAT agreed and compliance of rules and regulations of IRDA and ensuring there is no breach in the process, so as to ensure smooth completion of the IRDA Audits.
- Completing ISO documentation procedure and being responsible part of the ISO Internal and External Audits.
- Maintaining policy records for the Policies issued
Competencies:
- Health Insurance domain knowledge.
- Basic skills in MS office.
- Good communication skill
