JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform & Witness the NDT/Visual inspection of all incoming material – castings, forgings and fabricated structures with machining.

· Preparation and Validation of scan plans.

· Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.

· Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.

· Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under NDT & Visual inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.

· Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.

· Organize and report test results.

· Perform specialized inspections.

· Witness that NDE inspection is performed in accordance with specs

· Hands on experience of UT, MPI, DP, RT of welding, castings, forgings and plates as applicable.

· Responsible for Quality standards of castings, forgings and fabricated structures for NDT.

· Training suppliers teams for NDT.
