· Delegate responsibility and authority to the appropriate personnel to ensure production functions effectively while maintaining overall accountability.
· Implementation of Operational Excellence Initiatives at shop floor, Productivity Improvement initiatives.
· Manages daily production activities to ensure personnel follow established procedures and approved processes to meet goals and objectives in a safe and clean work environment to produce high quality products
· Lead a team of production executives and other production employees to achieve production metrics in a manner consistent with our culture and values.
· To check the availability of the RM/PM and the promotional items as per the plan and to follow up with purchase department, in case of no availability.
· Develop and train work force for achievement of productivity targets, wastage minimization, and safety.
· Meticulously plan a production schedule based on market demand.
· To monitor and control the usage variance through the checklists.
· Must be able to fill in all positions and operate equipment as required in all production areas to ensure production output in event of break relief and absenteeism.
· Informs the appropriate departments of major production issues and participates in the resolution of the problem, as a leader by example. Must also stay abreast of all raw materials shortages, which must be reported immediately to maintain production efficiency.
· Actively participates with peers in special studies or projects relating to process improvements and cost reductions, including the initiation, analysis and implementation of these improvements. Creates an environment where employees feel valued, challenged, and willing to give and implement ideas on how we can improve our operations
· Maintains a safe work environment by taking the necessary actions to ensure safety of all employees. Submits accurate written reports of all accidents to HR and the Safety Committee within 24 hours of the incident. Includes possible corrective action to avoid similar accidents in the future.
· Consistent enforcement of all company policies. Resolves personnel problems, including discipline when appropriate.
