Job description LCCI Data Analyst / Forecasting Analyst
The LCCI-based position will support both International Business Units (IBU) Forecasting (FC),and IBU Data & Analytics, covering all therapeutic areas within IBU. The candidate will be accountable of generating the required level of standardization and simplification for IBU-wide data production processes, dashboards, as well as updating them on a regular basis. Within Forecasting, the candidate will work on trend-based forecasting tools, as well as with Patient-based FC Models for late pipeline assets and newly launched products across the IBU portfolio. Standardization of FC models and developing IBU consolidation tools will be also part of the role.
Whilst reporting into LCCI, the working content will be defined by the IBU Data & Analytics and IBU Forecasting functions. The position works in supporting IBU Data & Analytics and Forecasting with product sales forecasts (particular throughout the Strategic-Plan Process),data cleaning & enhancement, data analytics, dashboards, and to support business case/ scenario modelling if needed. Major Business Partner will be IBU Data & Analytic leader and -FC leader, but also regional Management/ Marketing/ PRA functions (Price, Reimbursement, Access),global Forecasting, and external vendors.
Thus, strong technical expertise will be required, as well as strong English skills. Moreover, the candidate should be very strong on working virtually and cross-cultural, as well as self-motivated, pragmatic, and flexible.
Forecasting
Main responsibilities:
- Provide Forecasting support for legacy brands (mainly trend-based Forecast) and pipeline/ new launched brands (mainly Epidemiologic-/ Patient-based FC model)
- Optimize, Standardize, and/ or develop FC tools across IBU
- Develop and run FC consolidation tools across all Therapeutic Areas for IBU
- Work with IBU FC leader on Strategic Plan; Business Plan, and FC Scenarios
- Support Competitive Intelligence Information for IBU
- If requested, support additional New Product Planning and Business Development tasks
Data Analytics
- Clean, combine and manipulate IQVIA data sets into formats desired by Lilly using tools like SQL, Knime
- Create and maintain monthly/ quarterly scorecards using tools like Tableau and Knime
- Create ad hoc reports/ analyses
We are looking for a candidate with outstanding learning agility and communication skills, who feels comfortable working in a small team in a fast-paced and multicultural environment. Excellent English skills are required. The position is demanding but offers excellent networking opportunities across the globe. Normal working mode will be virtual/ remotely.

Required Profile:
- Experience in International Pharma
- Experience in Forecasting
- Experience in Pharma data analytics, specifically in working with IQVIA data
- Strong communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent English written and spoken
- Ability to work virtually within international teams
- Ability to work in a small team with team members in a different continent
- High learning agility
- Familiar with tools like SQL, Knime
- Hands-on experience with Relational Databases, Data Warehousing and Data Lake concepts
- Exposed to data visualization principles
- Familiarity with statistical software such as R or SPSS is a benefit
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Tableau
