Application Infrastructure Enablement Expert

Job Description

Support and provide the management of application infrastructure including application installation, deployment and Operational management of the application infrastructure.

 

-      Act as DevOps team member to deploy applications/DBs/updates/patches as per approved technical designs from solution/infrastructure architects, application owners and vendors.

-      4 years of hands on experience in installing, configuring and deploying applications, DBs, preparing and deploying IQs.

-      Minimum 2 years of production support experience in at least two of the undermentioned middleware products:

o   IIS, Apache, JBOSS, WebLogic, Tomcat

-      Work with internal middleware teams to test, implement, integrate, and administer middleware.

-      Minimum 4 years of hands on experience on production support of OS platforms like Linux and Windows. Troubleshooting Linux and Windows OS level issues.

-      Operationally manage application infrastructure to ensure preventative measures are taken on the application and application’s infrastructure to avoid unplanned application outages. This includes application infrastructure capacity management, infrastructure security access management, application infrastructure configuration items are correct in the CMDB.

-      Working knowledge of private and public cloud infrastructure like AWS/Azure and good understanding of services/features offered by AWS/Azure.

-      Experience of IM tools like Service Now, Jira.

-      Experience of monitoring tools like Splunk, HP Openview.

-      Experience is deploying DBs/tables on Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL

-      Ensure that all work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints.

-      Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within scope of infrastructure enablement.

-      Lead OCA Incident Management Technical call resolution.

-      A very strong customer focus. Should be able to coordinate between various stake holders without supervision.

-      Ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment.

-      Be a self-starter who is excited about learning new and emerging technologies.

-       Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)

 

Minimum requirements

Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

4-6 Years of relevant experience.
