BUSINESS ANALYST (BRD)
The Business Analyst is responsible for working with Human Resource business to develop and deliver high-quality Business Requirements and Analysis documents for use in a systems development project. The Business Analyst will support the Delivery Lead through the project start-up, BRD and Analysis phases with the tasks outlined below most importantly the ownership of the Business Requirements Document (BRD). Success in this role is dependent on experience with systems development projects, discussion facilitation and working collaboratively; as well as verbal, written, organizational and problem solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist with project setup including kick-off meeting structure, initial workplan development, template collection and organization, Business Requirements Document (BRD) preparation.
* Lead the processes for BRD submission, revision, approval, re-estimate, etc.
* Complete the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) including all regulatory, compliance and security requirements
* Lead/participate in the development of initial Test Scenarios and the initial Test Strategy/Plan
* Assist in the identification of initial Production Support impacts from the requirements sessions
* Develop and coordinate with business personnel on documents in support of the BRD and other key deliverables
* Work closely with the business and technical teams to identify, investigate and analyze issues and provide actionable resolutions
* Develop a strong understanding of the design, architecture and functionality of human resource solutions.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
* Bachelor s degree and minimum 2 years of experience
* Must have prior HRMS experience.
* Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
* Excellent follow-up skills and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
* Strong analytical, planning, organizational, critical thinking and innovative problem solving skills
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proficient in all areas of Microsoft office
* Experience in leading requirements gathering sessions for systems implementations
* Strong understanding of business requirements, use cases, technical specifications and system development life cycles
