Job Description: Store Executive
Company: Berger Paints India Ltd.
Position – Store SE (Off Role)
Location: Nagpur City and Upcountry Market, Maharashtra
Salary – 17k + MWA + Incentive
Job Role –
To drive demand generation and ensure business growth through effective coordination between contractors, architects, interior designers, and end customers, while efficiently managing the DOCO/SIS store operations.
Key Responsibilities -
1. Demand Generation & Site Engagement -
Identify and visit active construction/renovation sites in the local area to generate leads.
Maintain a tracker of all sites visited, along with stage of construction and paint requirement timelines.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to homeowners and site influencers.
2. Contractor Relationship Management -
Regularly visit to key painting contractors and supervisors to build strong relationships.
Share product information, shade cards, and offer updates on schemes or loyalty programs.
Coordinate for bulk orders and support during site application if needed.
3. Influencer Engagement -
Meet Interior Designers, Architects and Engineers to generate product specifications and promote premium product range.
Organize mini-meets, training sessions, and sample distributions to develop long-term partnerships.
Update influencers with Berger’s new launches, finishes, and textures.
4. In-Store Customer Experience -
Ensure walk-in customers are greeted and given complete information about products, shades, and services.
Provide expert advice on product based on customer needs and site requirements.
Use digital tools (Berger My Colour App) and sample boards for better visual representation.
5. Store Operations -
Ensure neat and appealing product and display arrangement inside the Store.
Maintain proper stock of shade cards, brochures, mock-ups, and POS materials.
Assist in maintaining inventory and coordinate with the dealer for timely replenishment.
6. Order Conversion & Billing Support -
Follow up on leads and site visits to ensure conversion to sales.
Coordinate between customers, contractors, and the dealer to close the sale.
Support in billing and product delivery coordination, ensuring customer satisfaction.
7. Market Intelligence -
Keep track of competitor activities, pricing, offers, and market trends.
Share insights regularly with the Berger sales team for strategic planning.
8. Reporting -
Maintain daily visit reports, lead status updates, and influencer engagement records.
Share weekly updates with the reporting Manager.
Key Skills Required -
Good communication & interpersonal skills

Fieldwork enthusiasm
Basic understanding of paints and construction stages
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Qualification Criteria -
• Graduate/ Post Graduate in any stream (preferred in Marketing, Business, or related fields)
