Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create structured and granular ceramic materials
2. Support the synthesis of various catalyst shapes using appropriate methods and tools
3. Conduct experiments to optimize the composition and properties of these catalyst shapes
4. Prepare samples for characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, ICP, BET, PSA, etc.
5. Utilize microscopy, spectroscopy, and other methods to analyze catalyst structure and properties
6. Record and interpret experimental data to drive research objectives
7. Compile experimental data generate comprehensive reports and present findings to the research team
8. Contribute to the creation of technical documents, SOPs, research papers, and presentations
9. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
10. Assist in procuring and organizing materials, chemicals, and equipment
11. Ensure instrument calibration and validation based on the schedule
Skills:
1. Strong understanding of ceramic materials and their processing techniques
2. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and experimental procedures related to ceramics
3. Basic knowledge of characterization techniques such as Microscopy, Spectroscopy, Rheology, Mechanical testing, and Thermal analysis
4. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
5. Ability to present findings in a clear and organized manner
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a development team
7. Education: Pursuing/recently completed a Bachelor's or higher degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
