Role Purpose:

• The DevOps Engineer works with cloud application providers to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications quickly and reliably.
  
• The DevOps Engineer will have a background in development, operations, and full-stack implementations.
  
• Need to work closely with the vendors providing continuous delivery solutions in a cloud environment.
  
• Need to have experience with the core suite of tools used to manage different cloud providers. 
  
• And Should have basic knowledge/understanding on mobile core network components such as HLR, OCS, and DRA etc .
  

Responsibilities:

• The DevOps Engineer will lead Continuous Integration practices and tools such as Jenkins or other CI tools collaboratively work with vendors and other team members to achieve successful continuous delivery solutions.
  
• Should have experience in the use of configuration management automation tools such as Puppet (or other such tools) in creating continuous delivery systems.
  
• Should have experience in programming in a high-level language such as Ruby, Python, Java, C# or other language to script installation, configuration, and provisioning.
  
• Five or more years’ experience in designing large and complex IT operations in large organization.
  
• DevOps Engineer responsible for mentoring best practices to team members. 
  
• Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem
  
• Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.
  

Requirements Skills and Experience:

• Should have min 10 years work experience deploying various application in Telecommunication environment.
•Need  to manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2,VPC,Storage) independently.
• Should have manged and delivered Elastic Container registry and Elastic Kubernetes services
• Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Bash scripting, Python are essentially requirements. 
• Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket Jira, Jenkins
• Java programming will be an added advantage
• Basic Understanding on telecommunication network will be an add advantage.
