The position of CSR is to do outbound calls using cold calling techniques on prospects and persuading potential customers to purchase a product or services. It also includes interacting with customers to provide information, respond to inquiries about products and services, analyzing customer problems and handling and resolving complaints.

Responsibilities

•  Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interest of specific individuals
  
• Deliver prepared sales talks, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a products or services.
  
• Explain products or services and answer questions from customer
  
• Follow sales scripts and probe to better target the needs and interests of a client
  
• Maintain records of contacts, call logs and reporting details regarding calls,
  
• Obtain customer information such as name, address etc.
  
• Assist less experienced representatives, as necessary;
  
• Develop and maintain knowledge of all product and  services offered by the company;
  
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers by gaining their trust and respect;
  
• Offer alternative solutions with the objective of retaining customer business
  
• Utilize a variety of systems and web-based tools to research & resolve customer issues
