Job Description

At ICUMedical, we’re seeking a data analyst to work with a dynamic, research-oriented group. Our ideal team member will have the mathematical and statistical expertise you’d expect, but a natural curiosity and creative mind that’s not so easy to find. As you mine, interpret, and clean our data, we will rely on you to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover opportunities that lie hidden within—all with the ultimate goal of realizing the data’s full potential. You will join a team of developers, but will “slice and dice” data using your own methods, creating new visions for the future.

Roles / Responsibilities

·      Work as the data engineer/analyst, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities and execute the development of data products

·      Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for business needs and execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems

·      Analyze data for trends and patterns, and Interpret data with a clear objective in mind

·      Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to develop an understanding of needs and requirements

·      Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis

·      Enable smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights

·      Keep current with technical and industry developments

Skills and Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer science/Information Technology

·      Minimum 3+ years of experience as a data analyst with an overall experience of 5 to 8 years in the field of Software Engineering

·      Strong problem-solving skills

·      Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis

·      Working experience with SQL, Statistics, Python (expertise in Python packages for Data Analytics),BI and Data visualization tools is a must

·      Knowledge on AWS Platform would be a
