As a SAP ABAP Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ABAP applications. Your expertise will contribute to the successful implementation and enhancement of SAP ABAP applications. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in ABAP programming, with a recent experience of at least 3 years with OO ABAP, overall experience of 8 to 10 years, along with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in OData developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of ABAP developers and provide technical guidance and support for SAP ABAP development projects, with a focus on S/4HANA.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for S/4HANA solutions.

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using SAP ABAP programming language, ensuring compatibility with the S/4HANA platform.

• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, specifically in the context of S/4HANA development.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing ABAP programs within the S/4HANA environment and provide timely resolutions.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP ABAP solutions, with a focus on S/4HANA-specific configurations and enhancements.

• Participate in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities for S/4HANA projects.

• Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends, particularly those related to S/4HANA, and recommend innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.

• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team, with an emphasis on S/4HANA best practices.

• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of S/4HANA projects within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) in accordance with functional specifications and technical guidelines.

• Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies, tools, and best practices, and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming, with OO ABAP experience.

• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming concepts, including ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Objects, and BAPI/RFC integration.

• Experience in building ABAP Applications with Eclipse IDE

• Familiarity with SAP development tools and technologies, including SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC.

• Hands-on experience developing OData projects for FIORI applications.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
