Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain websites and web applications using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web pages.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Implement responsive design techniques to ensure optimal viewing experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
• Conduct testing and debugging of web applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in web development to continuously improve skills and stay current with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and prioritize tasks.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for web-related issues as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with back-end development technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and usability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have (optional):
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and techniques for protecting against common vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques to improve page load times and overall site performance.
